Kirsten Medeiros
Kirsten fell in love with the sport of gymnastics at age 8. She credits her success in life directly due to her time in the sport. She did not qualify for nationals the first time she had the opportunity. She didn’t get into a Physical Therapy graduate program the first year she applied. Falling and failing in sport teaches resilience.
After 4 years in college gymnastics, Kirsten went on to get both her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy and is the mom of two amazing athletes (a gymnast and a skateboarder) and one chihuahua rescue mutt. She completed one marathon and three triathlons before determining she prefers short distances. She can be found at a local skate park, gymnastics meet, or walking San Diego’s beaches.
Kevin Spindt
Kevin’s journey to his current role as President & Co-Founder of a professional development coaching and consulting firm was shaped by participation in youth sports. Influenced by his father, a HS basketball coach, and mother, a preschool teacher, he embraced sports at an early age. His engagement in HS basketball and tennis, and college Ultimate Frisbee, was more than physical activity, it was lessons in teamwork, resilience, and leadership in real time.
The discipline and collaboration on the field have been instrumental in his approach to professional development, highlighting the power of youth sports in shaping successful, well rounded individuals.
Christine Beadle
Christine had the incredible opportunity to participate in a number of youth, jr high, high school, and collegiate sports. Highlights include face planting off vault in gymnastics, fouling out of most basketball games, crying over a blue tutu in ballet, and picking grass in the outfield.
Sports, being a teammate, and belonging to a group of motivated athletes gave her the confidence to pursue a career in teaching and sports medicine.
Dr. Beadle resides in San Diego with her husband, tabico kitty, and chocolate lab. She continues to participate in snow skilling, yoga, running, and hiking.
